Writing down your career goals!

Once you have answered all these questions and you recognize the need for some change in your career, you have to write things down for better clarity and for efficient planning.

1. Write down your career goals in the order of their priority.

2. Underline the benefits and advantages of achieving the objectives. These will positively impact your motivation, making you work harder.

3. Identify the key steps that you need to take in order to achieve career goals, one by one. This is about breaking the larger-scale goal into smaller targets.
4. Put down the methods, strategies and other resources that you need.

5. Closely monitor your progress towards the goals. The initial plan thus help you stay focused and track the evolution of your career.

Once you work towards certain career goals and you reach them, time will come again to push going forward. New challenges and new objectives will appear. While this is an ongoing process, it is one that keeps you happy and satisfied with your career.
